Venom is just 2 months away from being released. And, until now, the fans of the character still don't know what to make of this project. But still - the buzz surrounding this movie continues to build up.
And that despite of the lack of a Spider-Man and despite of the uncertainty of an R-rating. As far as the latter is concerned, producer Avi Arad said recently that kids love Venom.
"Kids love Venom. It's something about it that attracts the anti-hero sensibility. So we are very excited." (Comic Book)
And this is something weird to say about a movie presumed to be R-rated.
Nonetheless, the clips released until now do tease the violence of the character. And so does today's trailer! So check it out below!

As said, the violence is just teased in this new clip. Even if the San Diego Comic Con attendees said that Venom eats someone's head, they didn't say it happens onscreen. And this is the case with this new clip.
Basically, there is this possibility for the film to be watered down, for more people to flock to the cinemas to see it. As we've seen with Deadpool and Logan, an R-rated film could break records, as long as the story is a good one.
Other than these, the new trailer does reveal the presence of at least two more Symbiotes other than the titular one. But, leaving aside the tone of the film and the rating, it is clear that the movie still needs some work done.
And that is because the quality of the poor quality of the CGI becomes obvious in the moments in which the Symbiotes are revealed. But, hopefully, there is still time.
