Marvel’s Eternals Releases Final Trailer

Marvel has released a new (and final) trailer for Eternals. This is one of the new franchises being introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe during Phase 4. It will center on the titular group introduced to the world by the late great Jack Kirby. As we can see from the trailer, it is going to be an epic adventure spanning thousands of years. It appears quite unlike anything we’ve seen in the MCU to date. Have a look.

As we can see, this gives us a much better idea of what to expect from the movie. The previous teaser trailer was very light on the details. Marvel and Disney have also opted to highlight the fact that director Chloe Zhao recently won an Oscar for her work on Nomandland. That movie also went on to win Best Picture at the Academy Awards earlier this year. An understandable thing to make note of.

Here is the synopsis for Eternals.

“Marvel Studios’ Eternals features an exciting new team of Super Heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, ancient aliens who have been living on Earth in secret for thousands of years. Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, an unexpected tragedy forces them out of the shadows to reunite against mankind’s most ancient enemy, the Deviants.”

Marvel also released a new poster, which we’ve included below for you to check out as well.

The cast for this MCU flick is stacked. Even by Marvel standards. It includes Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, Brian Tyree Henry, Salma Hayek, Lia McHugh, Don Lee and Kit Harrington. It still remains a bit unclear if there will be one main villain or if the Deviants, as a group, will be causing problems.

Phase 4 of the MCU kicked off on Disney+ earlier this year with WandaVision. That show was followed up by The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, as well as Loki. Black Widow opened the floodgates on the movie side. Though it was also available to stream on Disney+ through Premier Access. Meanwhile, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is set to arrive exclusively in theaters in September.

To cap off 2021, Spider-Man: Far From Home is set to arrive in December. At least for the time being. There is a growing fear that several big movies will be delayed over the delta variant. Especially since The Suicide Squad recently struggles at the box office.

Marvel’s Eternals hits theaters on November 5.
