Do you remember the Facebook campaign Vin Diesel made for a role in a Marvel movie? Well, that move ensured a role for him in 2014's most successful superhero movie. He was Groot and he was the coolest character in a movie filled with cool characters.

As it seemed, Vin Diesel wasn't necessarily an option for Marvel - however, his resolve convinced the studio to cast him. And it was a splendid idea!

Now it seems that the history is repeating itself, since the actor (known until now mainly for his Fast & Furious roles) has started again to tease us with yet another role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And it all started in August.

One week after Guardians of the Galaxy conquered the US box-office, the actor posted a pic of Groot on Facebook. However, the caption was the one that captured the attention of the fans, since he said something about a project we didn't even know that was green-light.

That project was announced about 2 months later and it is called Inhumans, with a scheduled release date for the 2^nd of November 2018.

Vin Diesel posted yet another pic on his Facebook account - obviously a fan-made one, it almost clearly states that the actor will indeed appear in the Inhumans. Check it out below:

Is this the confidence of the actor that was already cast, or is this yet another campaign for a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Some voices say that Groot was only a small role that will accustom the actor with the way Marvel movies are working. Some say that Marvel's plan was to cast Vin Diesel as an Inhuman from the first place but, since the movie was far away from being released, they decided to go with Groot.
