Marvel Phase 3 Is Coming!

It was October 2014 when Marvel announced at a press event the shape of phase 3 of its cinematic universe and a month later they have finally released the poster in social media network sites twitter and facebook. The poster contains each of the nine movies of phase 3 with the release dates. This might not be anything new to the fans as they already know well about each of the movies' release date, but "˜an official timeline for Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 3' is what keeps it in the limelight!

What Do We Have In Phase 3?

The poster was accompanied by the Marvel Tweet "the right version of the Phase 3 MCU timeline". The phase 3 kicks off with Captain America: Civil War to be released on 6 May, 2016, followed by Doctor Strange on 4 November, 2016, Guardians of the Galaxy 2 on 5 May, 2017, Thor: Ragnarok on 28 July, 2017, Black Panther on 3 November, 2017, Part 1 of Avengers: Infinity War on 4 May, 2018, Captain Marvel on 6 July, 2018, The Inhumans on 2 November, 2018 and finally Part 2 of Avengers: Infinity War on 3 May, 2019.

Why No Ant-Man In Phase 3?

The only thing that adds some twist to the poster is the absence of Peyton Reed's Ant-Man. The movie is scheduled to hit the theaters on 17 July, 2015, which means its release will pull curtains to MCU phase 2. Previously, it was assumed that Avengers: Age of Ultron would be the last of phase 2.
