1. Someone up there loves Spider-Gwen

As Movie Pilot reports, Isaac Perlmutter was the one supported the creation of a standalone Spider-Gwen comics universe. The name might not mean a lot to you, but it should.

He is, apparently, the only one whose opinion Kevin Feige factors in when making decisions for the developments of the MCU. Mr. Perlmutter is not a very public person, but he does have a word to say in how Marvel's comics are adapted for the big screen.

So, given it's to him that we owe the very creation of a Spider-Gwen lore, making a movie "“ or even developing a franchise from that "“ that pulls from it is not a farfetched idea. Of course, if he were to support this one too.
