Marvel and Fox Collab Rumors

Here's an interesting scoop: Apparently, Marvel and Fox are in early talks for a superhero team-up movie. And this is great! The biggest superhero flicks to date have been the ones in which multiple heroes appear. So it would be more than amazing to see the Marvel Avengers collaborating with the Fantastic Four or the X-Men.

Obviously, this isn't the first time this rumor has circulated on the web. Ever since the groundbreaking deal between Marvel and Sony took place, people have been saying that Fox will soon follow. But now, after the failure of Fantastic Four, and after X-Men: Apocalypse didn't reach the heights it was expected to, it is more believable.

So this time the scoop comes from Fatman on Batman producer Matt Key. According to him, a deal between Marvel and Fox will happen, even if it will be a few years from now. Deadpool is proof that Fox can be quite successful. However, Spider-Man: Homecoming can show Fox that Marvel can make any franchise better.

In a way, Spider-Man: Homecoming will show Sony that Marvel is the only studio that can handle a Marvel superhero property. But it will also show this to Fox. Saying that the Amazing Spider-Man franchise underperformed is a bit of an understatement. When Homecoming hits it big, the point will be made. And Fox will realize that not having the creative control is more beneficial than otherwise.

Of course, this is just a rumor at this point. And, just like any rumor, it shouldn't be taken for granted. However, it does give the fans the opportunity to think about the spectacle that could ensue. Seeing that Fox also owns quite a lot of supervillains, this rumor becomes even sweeter.

And since Feige is also a fan of superhero movies and comic books, maybe this Marvel - Fox deal will happen.

It’s never too late. And both studios would benefit from it. As far as we’re concerned, the fact that the Infinity War is coming also signals a new direction for the MCU. And since the slate for Phase IV and beyond is unknown to us, the change is more than welcome.
