Although it wasn’t a big role, Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye had his part in Captain America: Civil War. The directors and screenwriters managed to make each character memorable, no matter what their roles were in the battle. The Avengers’ gathering in Civil War was remarkable, and we can’t minimize anyone’s performance. And with the upcoming Avengers movie, the less-highlighted Hawkeye will participate again, alongside his crew.
Renner teased his role in Avengers: Infinity War, not revealing much, but leaving us wondering what’s going to happen. Asked about Clint Barton’s future with the Avengers, Renner hesitated, making just one point, that the Russo brothers have some excellent ideas for Infinity War.
If I knew anything, I still couldn't tell you. But I don't know anything. I know there's Infinity Wars, I know Avengers 3 and 4 are happening. But I don't know outside of my involvement or anything else. I can't tell you! What if I'm dead in the first one? I don't know. I might already be dead"¦I know the talks [about] what it's about sounded fantastic. The Russo brothers have got some really great ideas and they're following certain parts of Infinity Wars. There's some really exciting stuff for a lot of the characters, especially with"¦what they're thinking about doing with Hawkeye especially, I'm pretty excited about (HeyUGuys).
At some point, Jeremy Renner was asked if he would go for a Hawkeye Netflix series. He seemed excited about the idea, saying that he would love to explore his character further.
What do you think about Hawkeye? Should he be given a bigger role, or will he not make it in Avengers: Infinity War?
