Marvel Studio's first female superhero-led flick Captain Marvel is scheduled for a 2 November, 2018 release, but plenty of rumors have already emerged relating to the movie! We've heard about a number of actresses being considered, but none of them confirmed. We've heard about Angelina Jolie being eyed for directing the venture, again, no confirmation as yet!

We even heard that Captain Marvel would make a cameo appearance in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movie Avengers: Age of Ultron. Recently, Marvel president Kevin Feige did admit that she made it to the drafts but not to the final script.

But finally, Marvel has come up with a confirmation about Captain Marvel. It has been officially announced by the studio that the recently rumored female writers are indeed the ones who'll write the script of Carol Denvers' solo outing! Nicole Perlman and Meg LeFauve are the screenwriters of Captain Marvel and it's officially confirmed now!

Nicole Perlman is most recognizable to fans as the screenwriter of last year's MCU blockbuster Guardians of the Galaxy. For the screenplay of Challenger, the American screenwriter has earned Tribeca Film Festival's Sloan Grant for Science in Film. She doesn't have plenty of credits under her belt, but the ones she's got are enough to prove her flair as a screenwriter.

About Meg LeFauve

Meg LeFauve isn't a new face in Hollywood as she's been recognized as the producer of 1999 television series The Baby Dance and she earned a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for that. She's also produced the 2002 independent comedy-drama film titled The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys. But her work as a screenwriter is yet to be judged as the only venture she has written a script for is Pixar's Inside Out which releases this summer.
