We've seen a lot of movie concept art and fan art, and the latest pieces showed us exactly how Brie Larson looked in her Captain Marvel costume.
Recent reports suggested that Larson was in Atlanta, preparing to film scenes in Carol Danvers' first standalone movie. Marvel Studios hasn’t made an official announce that production was about to begin, but cameras have apparently started rolling for their first female-led movie, as evidenced by several recent on-set photos.
We have a couple of the pics of Brie Larson in costume here, and you can also head over to Page Six to view more!
With the exception of the colors, the costume bears a striking resemblance to the one the Marvel Comics character wore in Marvel Comics. Here’s a fan edit that shows how Larson would look in the costume from the comics (via Redditor @BeautifulBasket)!
The color shift wasn’t evident in concept art shown at San Diego Comic-Con International 2017, leading many to speculate that green may not be the new red. The costume shown in the set photos might turn out to be a Kree prototype rather than Larson's actual costume.
We should note that there were similar inconsistencies among the Wasp’s costumes in the Ant-Man movie, SDCC concept art for Ant-Man and the Wasp, and photos from the sequel. Then again, we haven’t seen either movie or trailer, so we don't know why those colors were readjusted.
