The highly-anticipated first trailer for Avengers 4 has finally made its way, and Marvel has announced the movie's official title as well as its updated release date.
The Russo Brothers, directors of Avengers: Infinity War and its upcoming sequel, were the first today to share the first Avengers 4 trailer on social media. The particular post included a heartfelt message from the duo, which reads:
For those who have been here since the beginning.
For those who have joined along the way.
For the best fans in the Universe.
This trailer is for you…
With much love and gratitude for your patience,
The RB's
The trailer is definitely something meant for the fans. Someone who has not followed the Marvel Cinematic Universe would likely find it boring. And why wouldn't they? In its entire runtime of two and a half minutes, the trailer doesn't have room for even a single action sequence. It's filled with melancholy and despondency, something that only the fans can connect to.
And it's only the fans who would be able to notice the interesting revelations made by the trailer. The first of those is that Tony Stark is stuck in space for some time at least with his Iron Man suit no longer functional. Another is that Steve Rogers has shaved off his beard and geared up once again in his Captain America attire. And then, there's Clint Barton in his new makeover finally showing up - say goodbye to Hawkeye and hello to Ronin!
During its ending moments, the trailer confirms that the official title of Avengers 4, as many fans had speculated, is indeed Avengers: Endgame. It also reveals that the movie would arrive in April instead of May next year, with an official poster dropped an hour or so later revealing the exact date to be the 26th of the month. Check out the trailer and the poster below!
