Avengers 4: Hawkeye is Unrecognizable in New Set Photos!

Hawkeye is totally unrecognizable in the new Avengers 4 set photos!

We’re not sure whether this is good or bad news…Jeremy Renner has been spotted on the set of the still-untitled Avengers 4, but he bears very little resemblance to the Hawkeye we’re accustomed to!

A couple of months ago, Renner teased fans with a photo of his snazzy new Hawkeye haircut. Then we came across a rumor suggesting that Clint Barton would actually no longer be Hawkeye in Avengers 4. Instead, he would take on the persona of Ronin.

Now that we’ve seen this latest batch of photos from the Atlanta set, the rumor makes more sense. The photos show the actor sporting a new look that’s completely different from how his character usually looks. The mild Mohawk haircut isn't the only deviation; he has some fresh ink on his left arm, as well.

We don't have enough information about the Avengers 4 plot (or even the Avengers: Infinity War plot) to explain the reasons for Hawkeye's transformation. But his new tattoo is very similar to tattoos sported by the Yakuza, so it appears that he might be involved in the Japan scenes in the May 3, 2019 release.

There are also shots of Karen Gillan in her Nebula garb and makeup, and Mark Ruffalo in a mo-cap suit that’s used in his Hulk scenes. Chris Evans, Robert Downey, Jr., and Paul Rudd also appear, but all of them are in civilian clothing. Check out a couple of set photos of Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, and then head over to VK to see the rest of the images!
