Adam Warlock needs to be in the MCU, even if only because his name is connected to the Mad Titan's. And when Thanos is defeated, who else should guard all those Infinity Stones? It wouldn't be a surprise if Marvel decides to go another route, but still"¦
And where else could Adam Warlock appear than in Guardians of the Galaxy, the movie about a ragtag team exploring the galaxy? Hell, we even believed we saw his cocoon in the Collector's collection. Granted, James Gunn has said time and time again afterward that it wasn't Him, but should we believe him?
Speaking of which, another window of opportunity for Adam Warlock to appear in Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. II was revealed when Elizabeth Debicki was announced to appear in 2017's sequel. Obviously, while this is just a rumor at this point, she is supposed to portray the main antagonist in the flick, known in the comics as Kismet, Ayesha, or Paragon. But, most importantly, she is also known as Her.
And you cannot have a Her without a Him, the latter also being another name of Adam Warlock. Both of them were designed to be perfect by their creators and to portray humanity at its peak. The two had a fallout, and she is not a straight up villain. However, it would make more sense and it would be more exciting to see this character than to have, say, Ego the Living Planet as the villain of Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. II.
As we’ve said, the James Gunn sequel is perfect for introducing Adam Warlock. But even if it doesn't happen, there is still the possibility of having him appear sometime during the Infinity War, with Kismet being his way of entering the MCU. After all, Thanos will be searching for the Infinity Stones throughout the entire galaxy.
And there is another possibility. What if Thor and Hulk meet the superhero during Thor: Ragnarok? The rumor is that the duo will unite in order to search for an ultimate weapon against Hela. Could Him be that weapon? What do you think?
