Shazam! Trailer 2: His Name Is Captain Sparkle Fingers!

The second Shazam! trailer has finally made its way online!

With around a month remaining before Shazam! rolls into theaters, Warner Bros. has launched the second full-length trailer for the movie, showing off some fun new footage.

The wait for the second Shazam! trailer has been a pretty long one. Dropping the first trailer at last year's San Diego Comic-Con International, the studio refrained from releasing a newer one for the next seven months or so. Quite expectedly, a section of fans grew frustrated and clamored for another trailer, forcing Aquaman director James Wan to come up with a word of advice for his fellow filmmaker David F. Sandberg about dealing with the online backlash. But now that the trailer has made its way online, we can put all that behind us.

The new trailer runs for a little more than two minutes, quite shorter than the first one, but doesn't fall short of our expectations. Like the first trailer, this one too promises tons and tons of humor in the April 5 release. We get hilarious new footage of Zachary Levi's titular superhero testing his superpowers, teaming up with a Batman plush toy to fight bad guys, and being dubbed by his friend Freddy Freeman as Captain Sparkle Fingers. Here's the trailer for you!

While Warner Bros. hasn't dropped a poster online with the second trailer, a new one was recently spotted by Reddit user @Bman1738 at the studio headquarters in Burbank. Check it out below!

We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson's case, by shouting out one word"”SHAZAM!"”this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam, courtesy of an ancient wizard. Still a kid at heart"”inside a ripped, godlike body"”Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test? Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he'll need to master these powers quickly in order to fight the deadly forces of evil controlled by Dr. Thaddeus Sivana.
