We've already seen a couple of trailers from the upcoming Justice League, and most of the major cast members are hard at work promoting the movie and talking about their characters, but Henry Cavill has kept a very low profile. Besides some promotional posters, we haven't even seen Superman yet. This is frustrating to a certain degree, given the numerous rumors about the character.
But Warner Bros. has apparently learned from past mistakes, and they’re not revealing what we think will be the film’s biggest secret before the movie's released. So we'll have to wait a bit longer to learn whether the Man of Steel has actually turned evil. We’ll see whether he'll be wearing his iconic black suit at that time, as well.
A recent rumor says that Superman might actually be forced to come out of retirement. He’ll visit the Kent farm, where he'll reportedly fight against some CGI enemies (via We Got This Covered).
According to the website, Henry Cavill was on the Justice League set, punching out stacks of green boxes, which indicates that his foes will be added in post-production. But this also means that the invaders (Steppenwolf and his Parademons) know all about his secret identity.
This makes us wonder whether Steppenwolf knows the other superheroes’ alter-egos, as well. But even if he doesn't, it will still be interesting to discover how he got his hands on the information.
Lex Luthor could have been his source, but apparently Jesse Eisenberg's character was cut from the film.
All in all, take everything with a grain of salt!
We'll know it all when Justice League hits theaters on November 17.
