Justice League will hit theaters in both the US and China on November 17. Warner Bros. just dropped a new trailer to promote the movie in China.
The trailer is only one minute long, but it features some cool new footage. We’ve seen plenty of blink-and-you’ll-miss-it shots of Steppenwolf in action in the previously released trailers and TV spots. In the Chinese trailer, he grabs a guy by the collar, and the guy tries to mollify him by saying, "Please, we have families." Steppenwolf (Ciaran Hinds) just doesn’t get why he always hears this from people, and wonders, "Why does everyone keep telling me that?"
Later in the trailer, there's cool shot of Batman getting the better of a Parademon. Check it out below!
Justice League cast members will soon visit China as part of the movie's promotional tour. Zack Snyder won't be with them, but he wished them well on Vero (via Batman-News):
Love this team of truly lovely people. Wish them all the best in China.
The director attached several new behind-the-scenes photos of Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Ray Fisher, Ezra Miller, and Jason Momoa. Here are the stills!
A new poster from IMAX, plus a poster and teaser from Fandango, announced that tickets for the latest DC superhero extravaganza had gone on sale. The 30-second teaser may be brief, but it features enough new footage that people are talking about it.
Fans are debating a scene during which someone generates a massive bolt of lightning to wield against Steppenwolf. We agree with those who believe that the scene fits in with the flashbacks in which the Amazons, the Atlanteans, and the humans form an alliance against the supervillain and his army of Parademons. Others believe that the guy with the bolt of lightning is Zeus, and still others believe it’s the wizard Shazam, who granted Billy Batson his powers.
The new Justice League teaser shoots down one theory. Based on AT&T's featurette for Cyborg, which recently surfaced online, Steppenwolf will kill a supporting character. However, the new teaser shows the scene from a different angle, making it clear that we simply misconstrued its meaning.
We’re also treated to some fresh footage of Mera (Amber Heard) as she displays her powers. Check out the teaser and the posters below!
