The Green Lantern is a core member of the Justice League, but we’ve heard that he isn’t going to make his first DCEU appearance until 2020. Zack Snyder has repeatedly said that there are no plans for any Green Lantern to cameo in this year's Justice League, despite numerous rumors about actors campaigning for roles, and about Henry Cavill, who teased an appearance by Hal Jordan.
But Zack Snyder may be leading the fans in the wrong direction. It wouldn't be the first time that happened, especially given the changes Warner Bros. made after Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was released. Check out Cavill’s latest Instagram post, in which he’s either confirming the Green Lantern appearance or trolling the fans:
We should also mention that Tyrese is back. The singer-turned-actor, who found success with the Fast and Furious franchise, has been campaigning for the role of John Stewart. After taking a break, the actor posted a new pic on his Instagram account (featuring a fan-made version of himself as John Stewart) simply announcing that it's time:
This could be a coincidence. But it could also confirm that at least one Green Lantern will appear in this year's Justice League.
