Although Suicide Squad was a certified box office hit, the majority of comic book movie enthusiasts thought the movie was a mess. There are a number of possible reasons for this, including a hastily written script; a poorly conceived and executed marketing campaign that teased major roles for certain characters that never came to be; and excessive interference by Warner Bros.
Nonetheless, some fans continue to believe that Suicide Squad’s stars – specifically Will Smith (Deadshot) and Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn) – made the movie well worth the price of admission. In addition, Jai Courtney and Jay Hernandez were pleasant surprises as Diablo and Captain Boomerang, respectively.
The Captain Boomerang story arc may have been butchered, but he remained one of the few characters who actually had stories. Lines that often fall flat undermined his final sacrifice scene, but still"¦

Although Diablo sacrificed himself in the first installment of this series, he’s possessed by an immortal being in the comics, and that makes him immortal. We’re wondering if this might be the case in the movie, as well.
But is it a good move to bring Diable back in a sequel after his sacrifice was such a surprise and a fan-favorite moment in the first Suicide Squad?
