Affleck & Geoff Johns To Write The Script!

According to the report, Ben Affleck will co-write the script for the Batman solo movie along with Geoff Johns – the chief creative officer at DC Comics. Apart from writing a variety of comic book series including Batman, Justice League, Green Lantern, Aquaman, etc., Johns has also written scripts for DC superhero TV series Arrow, The Flash and this fall’s debutant Supergirl.

The sources of the site claim that the two are ‘well in synch and have more than found their rhythm’. They are likely to get the script completed before the end of the summer, since Affleck will have to move in November to direct Live By Night. The Batman solo movie will kick-off its filming after Affleck has wrapped up filming of his adaptation of the Dennis Lehane novel. The site also suggests that the plot of the movie would ‘reflect the Batman character that emerges after Batman V Superman and Justice League’.
