Ben Affleck makes his debut as the new Batman in next year's Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and we already know he'll reprise the role in the other DC Cinematic Universe venture of the year – Suicide Squad. And we can pretty much assume that he'll appear as the Caped Crusader in a number of movies that Warner Bros and DC have scheduled for release until 2020.

But a rumor has been prevailing for the last few months that they might add another movie to their slot "“ a Batman solo movie starring Ben Affleck. We've also heard that he might helm the movie as well.

And Affleck, in a recent interview "“ has shared that he accepted the offer to play Batman because of his desire to direct a superhero movie in future. That statement also seems to indicate that if he's offered to helm a Batman solo, he would undoubtedly grab it.

Now, Deadline – which is indeed a very reliable source "“ reports that 42-year-old Oscar winning multi-talented celebrity will co-write, direct and star in the Batman solo movie!
