The first poster for Aquaman has made its way online along with the first look at its highly-anticipated first trailer.
Most of the DC Extended Universe installments released till date have been more or less fiascos. However, fan anticipation for the next one, James Wan's Aquaman, is still sky high. With the principal photography wrapped in last October, fans have been begging to Warner Bros. to drop the first trailer.
In the recent past, the studio has released a bunch of photos from the movie featuring lead actor Jason Momoa and other cast members like Amber Heard, Nicole Kidman, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Patrick Wilson. But the movie's first trailer has still been withheld.
We were pretty sure that the trailer will arrive this Saturday during Warner Bros.' Hall H presentation at San Diego Comic-Con International. We can cast aside any doubt about that now, thanks to the arrival of the official Aquaman poster and the first look at its trailer.
The poster that embodies the tagline HOME IS CALLING takes us deep under the ocean where we see Arthur Curry marshaling an army of aquatic creatures like whales, sharks, sting rays, dolphins and turtles. The superhero is holding the same Quindent that we saw him wielding in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League. According to ComicBook, this particular weapon that strikes Batman as a pitchfork actually belongs to Queen Atlanna and is called Mother's Trident. Here's the poster for you!
While sharing the poster on Twitter, James Wan has confirmed that the first Aquaman trailer will hit the web on Saturday. He reveals that he has been working overtime to the finishing touches for the trailer. The director has also shared a photo from the editing bay with a still from the trailer on the screen.
