Last year Josh Trank delivered one of the worst superhero movies of all time - Fantastic Four. It was a total disappointment. We can't be any less blunt, can we? Even though a sequel was scheduled for 2017 release, 20 Century Fox eventually removed it from their timeline. So, a Fantastic Four 2 is unlikely to happen. But if it does, who among the cast members would want to return?
Don't know about others, but Michael B. Jordan would surely want to! In a recent interview with IGN, the actor who played Johnny Storm, aka Human Torch, said:
"Johnny Storm is an incredible character. Why not?"
Even though he is "˜not sure' if a Fantastic Four 2 will ever happen, for the fact that he loves the character and is "˜a big comic book fan', he won't mind reprising the role in future.
Jordan stated that he looks back at the movie as "˜a learning experience'. He claims that the Fantastic Four team and the studio "˜didn't set out to make a film that didn't work'. The actor explained:
"I think it was a big education for me to realise that things aren't in your control, and you can do everything you're supposed to do. You can give 110% every day, and the movie still not work out. But that may or may not be on you and you've got to be OK with that."
Michael B. Jordan also shared that Ryan Coogler's critically acclaimed Creed made it "˜a little bit easier to swallow' as it was his very next project after the Josh Trank flick.
FIVE Razzie Nominations for Fantastic Four!
Fantastic Four has bagged FIVE NOMINATIONS - that should be very pleasant news for Michael B. Jordan and the movie's team! But they can't be amused because these are Golden Raspberry Award nominations! Yes, the Razzie 2016 nominations have been revealed! The categories in which the August 7, 2015 release earned nominations are Worst Picture, Worst Director, Worst Screen Combo, Worst Remake or Sequel and Worst Screenplay!
