It was 22 September, 2014, when the Batman prequel series Gotham kicked off on Fox. By now we have 11 episodes of the Warner Bros Television venture aired and what remains the most absorbing character in the series is Robin Lord Taylor's Oswald Cobblepot aka Penguin.
An interesting fan theory from a reddit user came up pretty recently claiming that Robin Lord Taylor's character in Gotham isn't actually Penguin, rather it's The Joker!
Robin Thinks Such Characters Should Be In Gotham!
Robin Lord Taylor's comment might seem to convince that Penguin isn't turning into The Joker, or at least for a while. But he also claimed the importance of having characters like The Joker appearing on the Fox series.
According to Robin, "The More rich characters from the Batman world that we can introduce, I think it's just better for the show. I'm just so excited to see what happens, just like everybody else."
