Batman Zero has arrived in Fortnite. Batman/Fortnite has been a huge crossover initiative between Epic Games and DC Comics. It includes a (so far) highly popular comic book miniseries. But it also brings elements of the Caped Crusader’s world into the game. Now, players can rock the new Batman Zero character skin. Have a look.
There are multiple ways to get the Batman Zero skin. It’s available in the Fortnite item shop, for one. But those who purchase the issue of the comic, or read it on DC Universe Infinite, will be given a code to redeem for a new item in the game. With issue Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point #2, fans were awarded the Batman Zero Wing Glider.
No memory, and unable to speak, how does Batman escape this place?

Here is the synopsis for Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point #2.
“Batman is trapped on the Island–unable to speak, his memory gone, having to fight to survive against the deadliest warriors of countless worlds. Can even the World’s Greatest Detective escape this trap when time itself resets every 22 minutes? And will the presence of someone else from Gotham City–a familiar feline fatale–help or hinder his efforts…especially when they don’t remember each other? In another life, they were enemies, friends, partners…but here on the Island, can they do anything but battle to the death?”
We also have the full schedule for items coming to the game over the next few months. Other items fans will get to utilize include a Catwoman skin, a Deathstroke skin and even a Harley Quinn outfit.
The full, remaining schedule for these Batman/Fortnite items is as follows.
- Catwoman Zero Outfit (May 18)
- Deathstroke Zero Outfit (June 1)
- Rebirth Harley Quinn Outfit (June 15)
- Armored Batman Zero Outfit (July 6)
This crossover appears to be hugely beneficial for both sides so far. Epic Games gets to add more from the DC universe to its wildly popular game. DC Comics, meanwhile, is getting to sell thousands upon thousands of issues of a new hit book. Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point #1 topped sales charts and even got a third printing. That is a relative rarity in modern comics. It would be easy to imagine DC and Epic plotting a follow-up of some sort down the line, if they haven’t already started hatching plans to do so.
The Batman Zero skin is available now in the Fortnite item shop.
