Does Ant-Man and the Wasp Hint at Norman Osborn’s Arrival?

Some Ant-Man and the Wasp theories suggest that the movie sets up the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including Avengers 4 and the X-Men. Now, a new theory hints that a classic Spider-Man nemesis may be on his way. We'll try to discuss this without straying too far into SPOILERS territory.

Even those who haven’t seen Ant-Man and the Wasp probably know that it introduces Walton Goggins as black market tech dealer Sonny Burch. Those who've seen the movie know that Burch is after Hank Pym’s technology because he wants to sell it to a mysterious buyer.

Twitter user @DanielRPK, who's been a reliable source in the past, thinks he knows the mysterious buyer's identity. In fact, his tweets indicate that he's pretty sure that it's Norman Osborn, aka the original Green Goblin:

In Marvel Comics, industrialist Osborn is willing to go to any lengths to get his hands on the latest high-tech weapons, so it follows that he'd want to steal Pym’s lab. This also falls in line with the Spider-Man: Homecoming theory that Oscorp Industries was behind the purchase of Tony Stark’s Avengers Tower.

Norman Osborn (Willem Dafoe), was the main villain in Sam Raimi’s original Spider-Man movie. Chris Cooper played the character in a relatively minor role in Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2. The post-Avengers 4 MCU might just be the ideal time for Marvel to introduce a fresh version of the supervillain.

As far as we know, Mysterio is the main antagonist in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Maybe Marvel intends to introduce Osborn in the webslinger's third solo outing (we hope it's not titled Spider-Man: Homeless!), or even in a Phase IV Avengers installment.
