Batman was one of the best things to happen to Batman v Superman, so the standalone movie didn't have to wait too long before being announced (granted, no release date was specified). Talking about the solo flick, Ben Affleck (who writes, directs, produces, and stars) said that the script isn't exactly finished. What does that mean? In his own words, he won't be able to stick to the timetable. But this isn't bad news at all.
This gives him more time to perfect the story, since he also said that he isn't going to start shooting until he believes the script is good. And since the movies he’s written and directed are all top notch, this can only be a good thing.
Affleck also talked about Batman v Superman, although he didn't mention the name of the movie. He said that the solo movie will have to reach a very high standard, one that he has set for himself. He also said via CBM that he isn't going to do anything just because it might be fun. He added, “I've been on the end of things when you make movies when you have a script that's not good yet and it doesn't pan out.” .
Major burn, Warner Bros.!
Batman will be seen next, however, in the Suicide Squad flick (August 5). After that comes the Justice League (November 17, 2017), in which he will have quite a few new toys. Among these, the entire league will be able to use the Flying Fox (which is a bat, if you didn't know). This is an airship that can also fit the Batmobile inside.
As far as the Batmobile is concerned, it is even more ferocious than the Batman v Superman version with just the machine gun turrets. Justice League will present an even more lethal Batmobile. Besides the machine guns, the new Batmobile will also have missile launchers and cannons!
Yup. But at least they'll be used against parademons.
The Dark Knight will have another vehicle at his disposal, the Nightcrawler, which can be operated by a single person. It will be used in a particular scene that takes place in an incomplete tunnel between Metropolis and Gotham.
There’s more! The Caped Crusader will also wear upgraded versions of both the armored suit and the standard costume. And this isn't all, we’re sure - but we’ll have to wait until new details surface.
