Justice League vs. Teen Titans – First Trailer

The Teen Titans will go against the Justice League

The latest offering coming from DC and Warner Bros' animated universe, Batman: Bad Blood, has also brought the first teaser trailer for Justice League vs. Teen Titans. Now, the studio has decided to release the full trailer, showing how everything we already knew falls into place.

Justice League vs. Teen Titans isn't an adaptation of a single comic book story, taking instead its cues from quite a few ones. Thus, the Justice League is possessed by the demon Trigon, so the Teen Titans need to fight this new threat and save their mentors. As it happened in the New 52 continuity, Damian Wayne also has a role to play, joining the Titans in their fight.

Check out the trailer below!

While this is the first time when we see, in this continuity, characters such as Raven, Blue Beetle, and Beast Boy, the concept itself seems pretty unbelievable. Just like that one time when we didn't actually believe that Robin can take out Batman (in Batman vs. Robin), we have no idea how the Titans can overthrow an overpowered Justice League. And, even if we see in the trailer how Robin manages to trip Flash, it seems unbelievable that this animation actually exists.

Furthermore, it seems pretty odd for a certain character to switch sides in Justice League vs. Teen Titans. That character is Cyborg, who was a Justice League member in the previous New 52 animations - what did he do to be kicked out of the team and become a Titan?

Well, we guess we’ll find out when Justice League vs. Teen Titans will be released (sometime this spring).

Justice League vs. Teen Titans stars Sean Maher as Dick Grayson/Nightwing, Stuart Allan as Damian Wayne/Robin, Jon Bernthal as Trigon, Taissa Farmiga as Raven, Jake T. Austin as Blue Beetle, Brandon Soo Hoo as Beast Boy, Kari Wahlgren as Starfire, Shemar Moore as Victor Stone/Cyborg, Jerry O'Connell as Clark Kent/Superman, Jason O'Mara as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Rosario Dawson as Diana of Themyscira/Wonder Woman, and Christopher Gorham as Barry Allen/The Flash.
