Chris Pine talks about Wonder Woman movie!

Pretty recently, we came to know that Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman is no less than 5000 years old during the events of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. We also came to know how both sexuality and feminism serve to the character. But while the events of the March 25 release take place in the modern times, the setting of the Amazonian Warrior Princess' first standalone movie is World War I era. So, she was a little younger at that time!

During his recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Chris Pine talked about the June 23, 2017 release. The Steve Trevor cast introduced himself as Wonder Woman's "˜better half' but refused to give away much. He said (via Comic Book):

"I can’t bet into the finer details of it, but yeah, I’m like a stay-at-home-dad type.

Well, the last part was a joke! Steve Trevor is not a stay-at-home-dad type of character! In the interview, Chris Pine stated that Gal is "˜doing a remarkable job' as Wonder Woman and that filming for the movie has been "˜great fun'.

Even though the actor didn't offer any hot details, he did explain how the movie differs from the conventional male-lead superhero movies. He stated:

"I think what’s really neat about it, is that with all of the Thors and Captain Kirks – I feel like with men at the helm, it’s always a revenge cycle thing. It’s an eye for an eye, ‘we’re going to get the bad guys’ and then the bad guys are defeated.

But for a female-fronted superhero movie like Wonder Woman, the story is a bit different. According to Chris Pine:

"What I think is really lovely, with having a woman at the helm of this, there’s a great deal more compassion and love at the center of the story, which for something as big as a film that this is going to be, and the eyes that will watch it, I think it’s a wonderful – the little bit we can do to hopefully inch this universe toward not being as aggressive and violent.
