A couple of days ago, during Fat Man on Batman, Marvel's Chief Creative Officer, Joe Quesada, revealed that Namor is back at Marvel studios. Obviously, there are some question marks here, since he doesn't seem too certain about it: "Yes. As far as I know, yes, we do. Yeah, it's not at Fox, it's not at Sony" (via Screen Rant). After all, he didn't say anything about Universal, showing in a way that he isn't up to date with the submariner's whereabouts (so to speak).
Nonetheless, even if this is just half-news, it’s still great news, since a confirmation (or refutation) of what he said concerning Namor will surely follow. And we say that because he also stated back in 2012 that Namor was back with Marvel, prompting Kevin Feige to deny this some time later.
This being said, the news has gained traction with some of the movie stars out there, stars who have already expressed their availability and interest in a possible Namor movie (or even a special appearance in the upcoming Infinity War). One of these stars is Brian Tee, who can now be seen as Shredder in the newly released TMNT: Out of the Shadows. According to the actor, Namor was his favorite comic book character as a kid, and he’s more than ready to play the part.
Obviously, plenty of fans support him since, in all honesty, he does look the part:

Furthermore, Tee has been in his fair share of comic book movies, having also appeared in The Wolverine. He was also the antagonist in the third Fast and Furious flick, so he does have the pedigree, even if Namor isn't a straight up villain.
Does this character have any chance to make it into the MCU? We're still waiting for a statement from Kevin Feige at this point.
