Ronda Rousey is the beautiful but totally kick-ass UFC babe who recently won her twelfth straight mixed martial arts fight when she unequivocally destroyed Bethe Correia in 34 seconds, defeating her by knockout at UFC 190.
As well as being a formidable combatant, Rousey is also notoriously embraces nerd culture and is known to be a keen player of World of Warcraft, an avid watcher of Game of Thrones and a fan of both Pokémon and Dragon Ball Z.
Therefore, it was no surprise during a recent Reddit AMA with the star that a user asked her which superhero she would like to play in a movie.

Captain Marvel AKA Carol Danvers
"A lot of the good ones have been taken, but I'd like to vie for Miss Marvel!"
Although Rousey wrote “Miss Marvel”, the likelihood is that she was referring to the character formerly known as “Ms. Marvel” AKA Carol Danvers who is now known as Captain Marvel (the current Ms. Marvel is a Pakistani-American Muslim teenager called Kamala Khan).
A Captain Marvel movie is due to be released in 2018 as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise and Marvel Studios are yet to cast the lead role – should they look to Ronda Rousey for that honour?
Rousey has broken into acting recently with brief roles in The Expendables 3, Furious 7 and Entourage, but is yet to star in such a major role.
