New Wonder Woman 1984 Set Photos and Videos!

Filming for Wonder Woman 1984 just got underway, but in addition to a few official shots of the movie’s stars, we’ve already seen quite a bit of action-filled on-set footage and stills pop up online.

One clip saw Wonder Woman save Steve Trevor during an apparent riot scene. Of course, we have no further details on the scene itself, but we’d be interested to learn what all those people are running from.

The same riot shows up in another video, but in this one, Wonder Woman sprints towards an unknown destination. Is she going to save Trevor? Or is she running to confront some unknown antagonist? We don't know, but it appears that Gadot is extremely fast…when attached to a harness. But can Wonder Woman outrun Cheetah?

Wonder Woman fends off an oncoming attack on her own in the next set video. We can expect the scene to look different with added CGI.

Finally, Just Jared shared a new batch of on-set stills of Wonder Woman in flight. In most of the shots, it’s obvious that actress Gal Gadot had no need for a stunt double in this scene. Check it out below!

Of course, these set photos/videos don’t appear to fit into the shared universe Zack Snyder established. Leaving aside Diana Prince’s remark that she’s left humanity behind, why was she not recognized during the events that took place in Batman v Superman? She was quite visible as she actively fought out in the open. Will this be explained or just swept under the rug?
