Harrington revealed in an interview for Entertainment Weekly that he is not informed of what will happen to his character. He even said that Jon Snow is dead, and that showrunners gave him the feeling that he had his share in Game of Thrones.

That was a while ago. Now we have another side of the story where Kit Harrington states the opposite:

“The important thing is that I now know exactly how long I am still under contract, and in the meantime…Let's just say that Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while, I'll probably be in my thirties when it's over. Now he seems to know exactly about the path of his character. The showrunners might have changed their minds or they always knew what they want to do. Just that, they preferred to keep it for themselves, until recently.

Harrington will be 29 in December, should we assume that in the following two years, Jon Snow will be alive?
