The filming of Game of Thrones Season 6 has begun in the middle of July and rumors blossomed like trees in spring.  There are plenty of rumors about filming locations, new cast members and the return of some characters.

The ending of Season 5 left the fans with a lot of questions and expectations. There is not much left to the time when the blanks will be filled. Until then, rumor has it all.

Lady Stoneheart will be resurrected

Lady Stoneheart will be resurrected

There are some characters that will come back from death and others that will come back from Season 4 and Season 3. The Irish Times stated clearly that Lady Stoneheart will return and command an army. She is supposed to be the resurrected version of Catelyn Stark.

Everyone thinks that Lady Stoneheart is the only Stark to return, but we digged around and we found more Starks coming back.  Bran Stark and his companion, Hodor will make their return as well. With a new mentor and more abilities, Bran's comeback will be interesting.

New members of the cast were revealed as well. Ricky Champ is among the first new members that were announced. He will play the role of Flynn, a member of a mysterious group of bandits.

There are other new characters and new members but let’s go on with the main subject.

The unexpected and controversial rumors about Jon Snow

Season 5 let us wonder if Jon Snow died after being stabbed more than few times. Fans discuss this on forums. While some are sure that four stabs are not life savers, others hope that Jon Snow was only left in a bad state.

On the other hand, statements of Kit Harrington, speculations of the media and facts from the set of the movie lead us to one conclusion. Let's see the signs that take us to the conclusion that Jon Snow might be alive, or sort of.

What is Kit Harrington doing in Belfast?

Kit and the creators of the series kept on claiming that the death of Jon Snow was real, despite many leads that tell us differently. The interpreter of Jon Snow was seen not once, but few times in Belfast.

He was spotted in the airport with a co-star and he insisted not to be photographed. But he was. Recently, Kit was seen again in Belfast with Iwan Rheon. Yet, he was still denying any comeback.

The beard and the long hair are still there.

The beard and the long hair are still there.

Fans were also guessing that Jon Snow was not dead as Kit Harrington kept the long hair and beard intact. We would guess that it's just the great desire of the fans to indulge themselves. But, as we go on with searching for the real reasons, we might agree with them.

Finally, after denials and twisting every rumor that fans were hoping to bring Jon Snow to life, Kit Harrington makes the statement. Don't expect a clear answer to our questioning. But we got it!

Read about his statement on the next page.

"Let's just say that Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while."

Kit Harrington predicts at least two more years for Jon Snow in Game of Thrones

Harrington revealed in an interview for Entertainment Weekly that he is not informed of what will happen to his character. He even said that Jon Snow is dead, and that showrunners gave him the feeling that he had his share in Game of Thrones.

That was a while ago. Now we have another side of the story where Kit Harrington states the opposite:

“The important thing is that I now know exactly how long I am still under contract, and in the meantime…Let's just say that Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while, I'll probably be in my thirties when it's over. One thing's for sure: the day I'm no longer on Thrones is the day I'll bury myself in movie projects (laughs).” (Source: The Independent)

Now he seems to know exactly about the path of his character. The showrunners might have changed their minds or they always knew what they want to do. Just that, they preferred to keep it for themselves, until recently.

Harrington will be 29 in December, should we assume that in the following two years, Jon Snow will be alive?

And the conclusion will be revealed on the following page!

Jon Snow will reborn just like the Phoenix bird

In this blur, there were fans that saw only the good part, others that were afraid their favorite character is really dead, and us wondering where the truth lies.

It is obvious that the showrunners play the card of uncertainty, to keep us all expecting even more eagerly Game of Thrones Season 6. The facts invalidated their statements and we expect what fans of Jon Snow do.

Of course, there is a lot of mystery around the unfolding of the events. We were so absorbed by whether Jon is alive or dead, that we forgot to wonder about the circumstances. There are no rumors about this aspect that will be clearly revealed in the upcoming episodes.

We think that a return of Jon Snow will happen, we just don't know its shape.

First of all, we don’t know for sure if he died or he is just seriously injured. If he died, then we can think to the most popular way characters come back from dead: revival. You’d say there is no other way, but people do come back as ghosts and other creatures.

The show has already accepted revival to be part of the story, as we’ve seen in Season 3 when Beric Dondarrion (Richard Dormer) was brought back to life after he had died in a duel.

Either way, Jon Snow will be there when you will enroll for Game of Thrones Season 6.
