Game of Thrones is set to return to HBO with a brand new season on April 24, and we finally have its first official Red Band trailer for the upcoming season! This one is an intense, action-packed, full-fledged trailer, unlike the Hall of Faces Tease that we got three weeks ago.
This trailer is filled with scenes from Game of Thrones Season 6, and these scenes confirm that some terrifying violence awaits - as Tyrion Lannister says, "You’re in a great game now, and great games terrify!"
And we've got some implicit nudity too! Well, you can't expect to have a Game of Thrones season without nudity!
There are a number of questions raised by viewing the trailer, which we will get to in the following section. But first, let's check out the trailer below!

Game of Thrones Season 6 Trailer - The Questions!
Now, people who have been following Game of Thrones must have questions popping up in their heads. This trailer covers an entire season of the HBO series - so, that's the only thing that these one minute and forty odd seconds would do. Let's discuss the major ones. Oh, I forgot to mention that the following content may feature possible SPOILERS for Game of Thrones Season 6!
Jon Snow - Alive or Dead?
Multiple shots in the trailer show us Jon Snow's dead body. But there's also one scene that seemingly features him alive. We are not sure if that person on horseback is indeed Kit Harington's character, but Vanity Fair definitely thinks so! Check it out below!
House Greyjoy - What are they up to?
Banners with a Golden Kraken sigil – these surely confirm that these men belong to House Greyjoy. But what are they up to?
Bolton Rule at Winterfell - Challenged?
It appears that Game of Thrones Season 6 will feature a war in the North! The shields are painted with the sigil of House Bolton, which rules Winterfell at the moment. Who are their opponents? No idea! But didn't we hear a rumor about an army loyal to House Stark assembling for a huge battle against the Boltons under Jon Snow's leadership? Think about it!
Bran Stark and the Night's King - A Vision?
In the trailer, we see a much older Bran Stark come face to face with the Night's King. But did you notice that Bran is standing here? Doesn't that mean that this is a vision? Is it a vision to reveal the secrets and origins of the White Walkers?
Are these flashbacks of younger Ned Stark?
We've heard Game of Thrones Season 6 rumors about Bran viewing the battle at the Tower of Joy. Is this part of that vision - a younger Ned Stark at the Tower of Joy?
Melisandre - Faith Crushed?
"The great victory I saw in the flames, all of it was a lie." That doesn't sound like Melisandre at all! We've never seen her feeling so defeated, have we? Has her faith really been crushed? Or, is she just pretending to Davos?
Heaps of other questions have arisen from the trailer. But we’ll only have answers after we've watched the season.
