New Jessica Jones Trailer Brings Even More Excitement

Not long after they have released the first full length trailer for Jessica Jones, Marvel and Netflix launch a second final trailer for the upcoming TV show. We've seen Jessica's superhero powers and we were revealed her drinking habits in the teasers that preceded the first trailer.

If you expect a lighter approach of Marvel on Jessica Jones after the dark presentation of Daredevil, you might want to wait. Jessica kicks asses in this trailer, literally. She is a lapsed detective, a functional alcoholic and beats up almost everyone. The villain she fights against is a creepy character rapt in dark mystery.

What's new in the second final full length Jessica Jones trailer? Here's how Marvel's Official Facebook page describes the trailer: "A hard-drinking, short-fused, mess of a woman…and we wouldn’t change a thing."

The second Jessica Jones trailer brings more action, new footage and we get to have a close look at the main villain Kilgrave (David Tennant) a.k.a. The Purple Man. We can also see sequences depicting the relationship between Jessica and Luke Cage (Mike Colter). The action in the new Jessica Jones trailer gives us a better perspective on the heroine's superpowers while her sarcastic comments portray a snarky character.

Kilgrave appears to be a dangerous villain and Jessica Jones knows too well about how he can ruin lives, taking the responsibility to prevent that from happening. His main superpower is to control minds and that is a challenge for the lead heroine herself.

The new Jessica Jones trailer keeps the fans alert until November 20

The second Jessica Jones trailer is also featuring the relationship between Jessica and Luke. They seem to be both romantically and professionally involved. We also get to see Carrie Anne Moss in some sequences as Jeryn Hogarth. There must be a lot more to see when the show debuts.

There are only ten days left until the show debuts on Netflix and many of us are excited. When the first episode ran at Comic-Con in New York, the show was praised for the storytelling and the dynamics between the characters.

After a tragic ending to her short-lived Super Hero stint, Jessica Jones is rebuilding her personal life and career as a private detective in Hell’s Kitchen. It’s time the world knew her name.
