Set photos have spilled the beans on Marvel's The Punisher a couple of times already - a bunch released earlier this month made it clear that the series had kicked off filming, while another set revealed that Deborah Ann Woll's Karen Page will feature in it. And now, they’ve disclosed even more.
New set photos have surfaced on the web that confirm a new cast member for The Punisher series. The Netflix series’ latest addition is Michael Nathanson.
Nathanson is known for playing Dr. Levi Zinberg in the Cinemax series The Knick. He’s also had minor roles in big screen ventures, such as Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street, Steven Soderbergh's Side Effects, and Jason Reitman's Young Adult. He’s appeared in television shows like BrainDead, Chicago Med, Orange Is the New Black, The Good Wife, and 30 Rock.
While the latest set snaps do confirm Michael Nathanson's addition to The Punisher series' cast roster, they don't disclose exactly what character he is portraying. He is spotted alongside his The Knick co-star Amber Rose Revah, who is playing Dinah Madani. Her character in The Punisher series has been described by Marvel as a "highly-trained" and "sophisticated" Homeland Security agent who is "vexed" by Jon Bernthal's character. So these photos also serve as a first look at Revah's Madani.
From Nathanson's attire and the fact that he is filming with Revah, it seems that he is portraying her partner from Homeland Security. But he could also be playing one of her informants, or maybe even a friend who is just helping her track down The Punisher.
