WWE Superstar Edge Joins The Flash!
The former WWE superstar Adam Copeland "“ better known by his ring name EDGE "“ has been confirmed to join the CW series in its second season! ComicBook brings to us the casting confirmation. According to the site, Edge will be playing the role of Atom-Smasher and will appear in the season premiere.
Even though the character is a hero in the comic books, the CW series will present him as a nemesis of the Fastest Man Alive. Here's what the CW said to the site while describing the character:
"One of the most powerful enemies we encounter this season, Atom Smasher has come to Central City to kill The Flash. His incredible strength and ability to grow to enormous size makes him more than a match for Flash and the entire S.T.A.R. Labs team will have to come together to find a way to defeat him."
Well, Edge has showed up as a bad guy for a number of times throughout his WWE career "“ so it might not be a difficult task for him to portray a negative character.
