Enchantress as a connection

Enchantress might just be the most important character in the movie, even if she will have just a secondary role in the overall plot. And that is because, quite a while ago, another rumor was spread, when she was announced for Suicide Squad. And that rumor connected this movie to another one.

And that was Justice League Dark. As we know, Guillermo del Toro handed Warner Bros the script and waited for an approval, only to leave the project (a couple of weeks ago or so). Now this doesn't mean that Justice League Dark won't happen. And, presuming that Suicide Squad also plays as an origin story for Enchantress, where does this lead?

After she learns how to control her powers, will she team-up with other DC characters in order to battle demonic creatures? It is flimsy, we know, so we'll just leave it in here.
