It looks like Marc Guggenheim and his team have a great deal in store for us in the 100th episode of Arrow. The showrunner recently teased the return of Katie Cassidy's Laurel Lance and Jamey Sheridan's Robert Queen in the episode, which is also a part of The CW's 4-way DC Universe crossover event. And now that they have kicked off the episode's filming, titular superhero actor Stephen Amell seems to be hinting at a comeback for Manu Bennett's Slade Wilson, aka Deathstroke!
The Canadian actor has been teasing the arrival of a mystery guest in Arrow Episode 100 for the last few days via his official social media accounts, but one of the more recent photos that he has shared from the set features none other than Deathstroke. The supervillain is in full costume in the photo, sitting on one end of a park bench while Amell is sitting on the other end. You can check it out below!
While Deathstroke's introduction in the DC Extended Universe has already been confirmed, Amell did clarify a couple of weeks ago that they can still have Manu Bennett's version of the character on the show.
But we mustn't forget that Bennett isn't the only one who's been introduced as Deathstroke in the Arrowverse. In the sixth episode of Legends of Tomorrow Season One, titled Star City 2046, we saw Slade Wilson's son Grant Wilson, portrayed by Jamie Andrew Cutler, as the one who had taken up his father’s mantle. So, it could be Grant instead of Slade who appears in Arrow's 100th episode.
While we aren't sure about the return of Manu Bennett's Deathstroke, we can rest assured that Caity Lotz's Sara Lance is coming back for the Arrow Season 5 episode. That's because Stephen Amell has shared a photo with her, too, from the set. Check it out below!
And here's the recently released Meet the Team for the show's upcoming season!
