DC’s Legends of Tomorrow to Introduce Jonah Hex! - Daily Superheroes - Your daily dose of Superheroes news

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow to Introduce Jonah Hex!

Jonah Hex is coming to DC's Legends of Tomorrow!

Nine days to go before DC's Legends of Tomorrow arrives at the CW! So many characters from the DC Comics are set to appear in the Arrow/Flash spin-off. While we have seen some of them before in Arrow and The Flash, some fresh ones are set to make their debut in the Arrowverse through the series. And we have one new name to add to the latter list!

Executive producer Marc Guggenheim has confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that DC's Legends of Tomorrow is ready to welcome Jonah Hex! The DC Comics western anti-hero will arrive in the very first season of the series. Here's what he said:

"Ever since we decided that Legends would involve time travel, we were eager to do a story set in the Old West. But if you're going to do a story set in the DC Universe version of the Old West, you simply must include Jonah Hex in it. We're thrilled about bringing another well known, beloved DC character to television.

We are thrilled too, aren't we? This will be the first time the Mark of the Demon appears in live-action television. Josh Brolin played him in the 2010 movie Jonah Hex. We've seen the character in animated ventures several times.

The EP, however, didn't confirm a cast for the character in DC's Legends of Tomorrow.

More Diversity in Legends of Tomorrow in Future!

EP teases more diversity in future in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow!

Recent rumors are suggesting that the newest member of the Arrowverse will not be renewed for even a second season. But it seems like there's no truth behind them! It's seems so because another EP has been found sharing FUTURE PLANS for DC's Legends of Tomorrow! When ComicBook asked Greg Berlanti about adding more diversity in the series, he replied:

"That’s the desire. It makes the story more interesting; it allows us to keep going to more places and keep working with better and better talent. That being said, I think everybody can take things even further. I don’t look at this ensemble and think it’s as diverse as it should be or could be even two or three years from now.

So, he definitely thinks that the series will survive for two or three years at least!
