Even before the premiere of DC's Legends of Tomorrow, we came across a rumor that the series wouldn't have a second season. It was reported that the Arrow/Flash spinoff is so incredibly expensive that the CW couldn't imagine renewing it. Well, we should always keep in mind something that Bruce Wayne says to Clark Kent in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice - "Don't believe everything you hear, son!"
That's because the CW has officially renewed DC's Legends of Tomorrow for SEASON TWO! The network has also renewed Arrow for its FIFTH season, as well as The Flash and iZombie for their THIRD seasons. The other six currently airing shows, along with spring/summer series Reign, have been renewed, too!
Well, we could pretty much assume that the rumor about the cancellation of DC's Legends of Tomorrow wouldn't stand, because executive producer Greg Berlanti shared his future plans for the show back in January. But we just needed an official renewal confirmation, and that we've finally got!
Official synopsis for DC's Legends of Tomorrow episode Left Behind released!
The official synopsis of the March 31 episode of DC's Legends of Tomorrow has surfaced on web. As reported previously, Matt Nable's Ra's Al Ghul will make a guest appearance in this episode, entitled Left Behind. You can read the synopsis below!
SARA RETURNS TO THE LEAGUE OF ASSASSINS - Ray (Brandon Routh), Sara (Caity Lotz) and Kendra (Ciara RenÃ©e) are shocked after they watch the Waverider fly off without them, leaving them stranded in the "˜50s. After waiting months for their teammates to come back, the three realize they must move on with their lives. Ray and Kendra bond as a couple but Sara decides to return to the League of Assassins and Ra's al Ghul (guest star Matt Nable).
