DC’s Trinity costumes

To mark the same event, DC and Warner Bros have also released an interview with the designer of the superheroes’ costumes. As far as Superman is concerned, Michael Wilkinson says that he even incorporated Kryptonian language signs onto the costume – besides that, he has tried to make the fabric seems as otherworldly as possible. The Batman suit is, most obviously, influenced by The Dark Knight Returns.

However, after seeing the concept art, the Wonder Woman costume is the ones that stands out. Here is what Michael Wilkinson says about it: “With Wonder Woman, what Zack talked to me about was creating a character who has incredible power and strength. Her presence as a warrior is completely legitimate and unquestionable, but at the same time, has kind of a grace and elegance of Amazonian culture. It’s quite a formal culture. Their way of fighting is very, very disciplined, so we wanted to sense that majesty with her look.”
