The Flash Season 2 has a new costumed character!

Fifteen episodes of The Flash Season 2 have been aired, and the sixteenth is coming on March 22, with the show's first-ever female speedster, Trajectory. But Allison Paige's character surely won't be the last new character introduced this season. Thanks to Canadagraphs, we now know that a new, costumed character will be introduced in an upcoming episode of the CW series.

The website has shared via its Twitter account a number of photos featuring the new character spotted on The Flash Season 2 set. We don't know who the actor is, due to the mask. Check out the photos below!

Even though we don't have an official confirmation, it seems that We Got This Covered has discovered who this new costumed character of The Flash Season 2 is. They think that it's none other than Cisco Ramon's villainous brother from the comics - Armando Ramon, aka Rupture.

The supervillain was created and introduced by Gerry Conway and Chuck Patton in Justice League of America #233. Later, Rupture was reintroduced in Justice League of America's Vibe #1 for the rebooted Prime Earth continuity.

The website's theory suggests that Rupture would be introduced in The Flash Season 2, not as Cisco's brother, but as that of his villainous counterpart from Earth 2, Reverb. He will arrive to seek revenge on Barry Allen and his team for Reverb's death.
