Preacher has divided its audiences. Some say that it is good, while others say that it is good, but it doesn’t have much of anything to do with the comic books. Well, everything will change, as the midseason trailer has revealed.
Finally, Jesse, Tulip, and Cassidy are going to search for God and bring him to Texas, one way or another. Finally, the Saint of Killers will be revealed.
I guess I’m one of those who enjoys the show, even if it has strayed away from its comic book origin until now. The dialogue is top notch, the idea of the show is original (to say the least), and the characters are rounded and beautiful.
Who doesn’t want to see this extra-ordinary idea coming to life? Who doesn’t want to see a couple of rednecks (and Jesse and his cronies are exactly that) whooping God’s ass and bringing him in front of the people?
The fact that the angels presented in the flick are coming from the same background as the main heroes makes it even better. Is this Heaven? Is this Hell? Do these two actually exist separate from the world we all live in?
