Legion
Legion is the new TV show about mutants – particularly about the son of Charles Xavier. And as one would expect from the son of the most powerful telepath, Legion/David Charles Haller is quite powerful.
The only problem is that he has a multiple personality disorder, with each of his personalities controlling one of his superpowers.
However, even if it is a show about mutants, Legion won’t be set in the same universe as the X-Men franchise. And it won’t feature any of the well-known mutants we have seen on the big screens. Maybe that is for the better. Maybe in this way we’ll get to see some other mutants, who haven’t been featured in the spotlight before.
And this new show is so high on this list for another reason as well – while it is not a full collaboration between Marvel and Fox, it is the beginning of it all!
And this will be a great show especially because of that! The trailer released makes the best of the protagonist’s particular mental disorder. There is something very David Fincher-y about this trailer and probably that is why it works so well.
