Black Panther (16 February 2018)
Black Panther will be the first solo movie of the MCU centered on a black superhero. After appearing for the first time in Captain America: Civil War, Chadwick Boseman will return in 2017, together with an almost exclusive African-American cast.
Ryan Coogler (Creed, Fruitvale Station) will direct.
Until now, three villains have been confirmed. The first one is Klaw (Andy Serkis), who also appeared in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Michael B. Jordan (who was the star of Coogler’s abovementioned movies) will be the main antagonist, Erik Killmonger. Lastly, Winston Duke was announced as Man-Ape, most likely as a villain in flashbacks for the previous Black Panthers (yes, the movie might feature a history of Wakanda’s leaders).
There isn’t much known about the plot of the film, other than the fact that Black Panther has to fight enemies from within and from outside of Wakanda (Killmonger and Klaw). Given how Civil War ended, we sure can believe that the Winter Soldier will be an ally of T’Challa, after the two have previously clashed.
