Thanos – He’ll Bring His Minions to the Infinity War

Thanos

As you might have heard, Thanos will make an appearance during Avengers: Age of Ultron. It may be during a vision sent by Scarlet Witch to Iron Man, or it may be during a mid-credits scene, when he will (presumably) hold the Infinity Gauntlet and decide to go after the Infinity Stones himself.

But will he be alone when waging war against Earth and the Avengers? Or will he have his own general with him, his own puppets, much like he did until now? Well, check out what we found about Thanos and his friends in the Infinity War.

Thanos - a reason for splitting a movie in two

In a recent interview, Joss Whedon said something interesting about Thanos and the Infinity War, by comparing this film with Avengers: Age of Ultron: "I feel like we got two movies into this one! I feel like we got two movies into this one!" (via Screen Rant). So if he says it, then it must be so, right? One thing is certain - Age of Ultron has just a few villains and superheroes compared to the Infinity War. And if it feels like it could have been split in two"¦

But who could pop as a minion of Thanos in the third and fourth Avengers films? One possibility would be for previously seen villains to appear - with, most likely, Red Skull making a return. After all, he is the only villain that didn't die and just disappeared (oh, yeah, there is Loki too, but he did make his return, twice already). Other villains which could be brought back with the Time Gem are Ronan and even Malekith. But who else could be? Besides the underused Abomination

Possible villains

While there is still plenty of time to introduce new characters for Thanos to use, we can still go back to the sources and see that the Mad Titan brought a fleet of starships over Earth and attacked all over the planet. The main superpowered beings he used were members of the Black Order, with Black Dwarf, Supergiant, Proxima Midnight and others. Of course, if they do appear, there is the small problem of their backstories. But, as said, there is still plenty of time.

We even have an idea for a post-credits scene for the Infinity Wars - how about, after the defeat of Thanos, Kang the Conqueror becomes the villain to be used down the road and hinted at in Phase IV movies?

Update: No Kang in the MCU!
