Phantom Stranger
Little is known about the origins of the Phantom Stranger – he is one of the superheroes whose alter-ego remains a mystery, even if he first appeared in 1952. Is he a fallen angel who sided with nobody when Hell went to war against Heaven? Is he a Jew from back when Jesus was only a child? Is he a scientist from end of time who prevents the universe from being erased out of existence? Nobody knows.
Just like nobody knows from where are his powers derived. He can travel enormous distances in the blink of an eye, just like he can actually travel to mystical dimensions such as Heaven. He can time-travel and he can survive in the outer space with no life support system and he can fire energy beams of tremendous force.
But his greatest power is his omniscience, or thereabout, which allows him to know everything that happens in the DC universe (with very few exceptions). So even if he already possesses remarkable feats, he doesn’t necessarily need to use any of them.
Awesome feats of strength? Well, he is indeed believed to have saved the entire universe from being erased from existence… so there is this.
And there is one more thing – he is literally immortal.
