Is Snoke secretly Plagueis? We don’t want that – we want Plagueis where he belongs: in a movie with Palpatine, the apprentice who killed him. So, naturally, a Star Wars spin-off should be dedicated to the one who corrupted Anakin Skywalker.

And this will be a totally different origin story than the one of Vader or the one of Kylo Ren, since Palpatine needn’t be the type of hero fallen from grace. We already have too many of these – he can be the ultimate evil character in the Star Wars universe.

The movie can begin with him on Naboo, searching for Sith artifacts and encountering a disguised Plagueis. He will then be taken as an apprentice, at a very young age, and convinced to murder his father. After his initiations, the movie can focus on his secret plans to overthrow his master after acquiring enough knowledge of the Dark side.

This could be a perfect chance to bring back a fan-favorite character, the Sith assassin Darth Maul (which was the best part of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace). Sure enough, the history will need to be twitched here and there – but if the movie will be great, we don’t see too many fans overreacting.
