Ben Solo

Since we will get a Han Solo flick, maybe some light could be shed upon the history of Kylo Ren. We are still wondering why he is so obsessed with Vader and what made him turn to the dark side.

We do know that he is the son of Han and Leia, thus being Force sensitive. And we do know that he was sent at an early age to train at Luke’s Jedi Academy. What we want is to see his first encounter with Snoke and his path towards darkness.

Of course, this could be a perilous journey, since we saw what the prequels did to Vader. But Disney seems to have found the perfect recipe for these movies – so why not? We can bet that there are hordes of fans who’d go to see a Kylo Ren origin story.

There could be a problem, though, since Luke will have to be there as well, much younger (we’re not mentioning Han and Leia, since the movie could pick up right after he is sent to the Academy). But Disney has already done wonder with Michael Douglas in Ant-Man, so we can bet that they can do it again.

We know that part of Kylo Ren’s backstory will be revealed in the future Star Wars sequels – but the gaps will need to be filled. And this is the perfect chance to show Lucas how a hero’s fall into darkness should be chronicled.
