Rogue Two

If Rogue One will be all about the Rebels stealing the plans for the first Death Star, can it be so hard to imagine a sequel for this spin-off? No, it wouldn't. In fact, it would give Disney the opportunity to show that the history of the galaxy so far away is not as cyclic and as The Force Awakens has shown.

In Return of the Jedi, it is said that many Bothans have died while trying to retrieve the plans for the Death Star. Who are these Bothans? Little is known about them, except for the fact that they are master spies and infiltrators. So in no way the course of Rogue Two could resemble the one of Rogue One. Maybe a future writer and a future director will try to present more about these species, how they became so famous in this field, and what their reasons were to steal the plans from the start.

We have no reason to believe that Rogue One won't be a hit. Even if it will rely just on the momentum provided by The Force Awakens, it will still do a great job at the box office. We'd like to see a sequel. We'd like to see a new spin on the stealing of the plans.
